Highlights: This Reynolds 631 steel frame is Nor-Cal inspired and offers many build options. It can be made single-speed. A derailleur can be hung from the frames permanent hooker. Then slide an eight- to nine-speed cassette onto the rear hub. A rigid chromoly ork can be chosen. Juices dropouts can accommodate road or mountain bike hubs. It will work with mountain bike wheels, road or cyclocross tires. You can use either disc brakes or cantilever brakes on the frame. Wheel size is the only thing you don’t have. Juices frames are designed for large hoops of 74 cm.

Best quote: The Juice presents challenges that can only been overcome by a combination fitness, bike handling skills, and smarts. Clearing a climb is the best feeling in mountain biking when all three are working together.

The bottom line is that the Juice may not be for everyone. We wouldn’t recommend it to riders who want it to be their only ride. The Juice is an affordable addition to your riding arsenal (between your cross-country race bike and trailbike with four inches of travel). It will give you a unique riding experience that will make your riding better.
