The US National Mountain Bike Series’ 6th and Final Round at Tamarack Resort, Tamarack, Idaho, has been cancelled. We have heard that the search is on for a new venue to host this final round. It will probably be at an existing venue that has hosted a national event in the past. We will let you know when we have more information.

Relocate 2008 National Mountain Bike Series Finals
We’re waiting confirmation from a former NMBS venue that everything is in order for the series finals there to be held, before we can make the announcement, » said Jeff Frost, series director at Bluewolf Events. Tamarack Resort, which is now in its fourth year, has an exceptional mountain bike trail network that is capable of hosting international competition.
The NMBS funding is being delayed as some of the key components are not expected to be funded. We are putting off hosting the finals to ensure the best possible event, said Ken Rider, Tamarack Resort Director Marketing and Sales.
We’re still very excited to go to Tamarack, and will continue to communicate with the resort. Frost said that there are so many great trails up there.
